Reading-order rendering
The EPUB spine determines chapter order, so the PDF follows the book's intended sequence instead of relying on filenames alone.
Turn EPUB ebooks into clean, shareable PDF documents. Render chapters with their web-style layout, images and typography, choose a page size and margins, select chapters, and download a print-ready PDF.
Convert one or multiple EPUB ebooks into PDF documents in your browser.
EPUB is built for responsive ebook reading, while PDF is designed around fixed pages. Converting an EPUB to PDF is useful when you need a document that can be printed, attached to an email, archived with fixed pagination, or shared with someone who expects a standard PDF. GetTransfy reads the EPUB package, follows its reading order, resolves common web resources, and renders the book into PDF pages rather than simply changing the filename.
CloudConvert describes EPUB as an open ebook format and offers a dedicated EPUB-to-PDF converter. FreeConvert likewise provides EPUB-to-PDF conversion with advanced settings such as e-reader optimization, margins, font scaling and metadata controls. citeturn0search0turn0search1 GetTransfy's focused browser workflow adds practical page-size, chapter-range, margin and image-quality controls while keeping processing sequential for more predictable memory use.

Common XHTML, stylesheet, image and font resources are resolved from the EPUB package before the chapter is rendered.
Choose A4, Letter, A5 or an original-ratio page and set margins to create a PDF suited to reading, printing or sharing.
An EPUB is a ZIP-based package containing structured ebook files such as XHTML, CSS, images, fonts and package metadata. GetTransfy first inspects the package and locates the EPUB container and package document. It then reads the manifest and spine, identifies the content documents in reading order, resolves resources, and creates a rendered page for each portion of the book. Long chapters are split into multiple PDF pages according to the selected page size and margins.
This approach is intentionally different from extracting only plain text. Ebook styles can control headings, spacing, images, lists and other visual elements, so the renderer keeps the chapter as HTML content while the browser lays it out. Complex EPUBs can still contain features that do not map perfectly to a fixed PDF, including interactive scripts, unusual CSS, embedded media, advanced SVG, DRM, or reader-specific behavior.
EPUB to PDF conversion is useful for ebooks that need a stable page format. A novel can be easier to print as PDF, a manual can be attached to a support ticket, and a study book can be archived with fixed pagination. It can also help when the recipient does not use an EPUB reader. The output is still a PDF representation of the EPUB's rendered content, so differences in pagination are normal when the target page size or margins change.
For books with heavy visual design, always review the resulting PDF before publishing or printing. Fonts that are unavailable to the browser, unusual layout rules, external resources, DRM protection, embedded video, interactive widgets and some advanced EPUB features may not render the same way in a fixed PDF. The converter reports failures instead of silently producing an empty document.
Choose an EPUB file or drag it into the upload area. You can add multiple ebooks to the queue.
Choose a chapter range, page size, margins, image quality, title and author when needed.
Start conversion and download each completed PDF from the results list.
GetTransfy keeps this converter dedicated to one job: turning an EPUB reading experience into a fixed PDF. The interface supports drag-and-drop uploads, batch queues, chapter selection, page-size presets, margin controls, image quality, metadata fields and sequential processing. The conversion engine is loaded only when needed, and progress is shown after conversion begins.
The browser-based architecture also avoids requiring a server-side conversion API for the core workflow. Files are parsed in the page and the resulting PDF is generated in the browser. That can be useful for privacy-sensitive documents, but browser memory and CPU remain practical limits for extremely large or highly image-heavy ebooks. For ordinary ebooks, this keeps the workflow straightforward: upload, choose the page settings, convert, review the result, and download the finished PDF.
Yes. Add multiple EPUB files and they are processed one at a time to avoid unnecessary simultaneous rendering load.
Yes. A4, Letter and A5 presets are available, plus an Original ratio option that follows the detected EPUB content dimensions.
Yes. Use the chapter range field, for example 1-5,8. The numbers follow the EPUB spine reading order.
Not necessarily. EPUB is reflowable and reader-dependent, while PDF has fixed pages. The selected page size, margins, available fonts and browser rendering can change pagination.
DRM-protected EPUBs may not expose their content for browser conversion. GetTransfy does not attempt to bypass DRM.
